Brighton Buccaneers is a fun, friendly, and inclusive wheelchair rugby club, based in Brighton, Sussex but drawing players from East and West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and beyond.
We train on Sunday mornings (10.30 – 12.30, so not too early!) at Brighton University Sports Centre, just behind the Amex Stadium in Falmer.
Brighton Buccaneers play both the Paralympic discipline of Wheelchair Rugby, and the new derivative, Wheelchair Rugby 5s, which has made it possible for players with greater functionality to play this great sport.
We welcome new players with a physical disability– no previous experience required – and we can provide all the necessary equipment including specialist sports rugby wheelchairs.
